Our annual Walk helps raise awareness about dementia while bringing community together in support of a great cause.
We all have a reason to walk!
Join us across the province every May and June for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s – the nation’s largest fundraiser for dementia. All funds raised in our province support the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
2026 Walks
Join us across the province as we walk for those living with dementia and their families — it’s a chance to connect, support each other and have a little fun along the way.
The Winnipeg Walk will take place at Assiniboine Park on May 30.
The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s is the Alzheimer Society’s largest annual fundraiser. All funds go towards local programs and services to help families better navigate the challenges dementia brings.

Supporting Manitobans living
with dementia
The funds raised during the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s go toward local programs and services that improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families in Manitoba and support awareness and education about dementia.
Your support is vital. When you walk, you’re sending a message of hope to the thousands of people living with dementia in Manitoba and the thousands more who care for them.
Joining the Walk is also a great way to get together with friends, families and neighbours to support your community. Staying physically and socially active is a great way to improve your brain health!
