Participate in a study to create better supports for care partners to people living with dementia.
Share your perspective as an unpaid care partner
Researchers from the University of Victoria are looking for unpaid care partners to someone living with dementia to participate in an online study about resilience. From the results of this study, they hope to create better supports and services for care partners.
To sign up, scan the QR code on the flyer below or email resilientcarestudy@uvic.ca by August 2026, and the research team will contact you. You will be compensated for your participation.

What will happen in this study?
Before participating, you will complete a 5-10-minute phone call to confirm you are eligible. If you are eligible, you will take part in an online survey (45 – 60 minutes) and optional online cognitive tasks (30 minutes).
What will I get for participating?
If you complete the online survey portion of the study, you will receive a $15 gift card of your choosing. If you complete both parts of the study, you will receive a $25 gift card of your choosing and be entered into a draw to win one of several prizes.
Who is eligible to participate?
You are eligible to participate if:
- You care currently an unpaid care partner for someone living
- You live in Canada
- You have been a care partner for at least a year
