Dementia Care 2025: Video on Demand
If you are a health care provider supporting a person living with dementia, Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® Online Learning Modules will help you understand brain changes and take positive steps in care and relationship building. Cost is only $30 for one year of access.
Are you looking for practical solutions to everyday dementia care challenges?
The following four modules integrate Teepa’s Positive Approach to Care® through videos that demonstrate practical situations and specific strategies to promote dignity and comfort during care:

Advanced Care Skills
Learn hands-on care techniques for late-stage dementia in a way that supports comfort, dignity and quality of life. This includes getting out of bed, transferring from bed to wheelchair, bathing and dressing as well as eating and drinking.

Challenging Behaviours
Learn how to respond to the challenging behaviours people living with dementia may express, often in response to unmet needs. Behaviours may include anger, physical resistance and sexually undesired advances.

Bathing and Getting Clean
Keeping oneself clean can be a complex task for a person living with dementia and the care partner. In this module, Teepa Snow explores approaches that professionals can take to build more trust and success.

GEMS® States
GEMS® States is a resource tool Teepa Snow developed in which different stages of dementia are linked with different gemstones. This provides a kind of legend that helps capture the abilities and limitations of each stage in the progression of dementia.
