This Support Group is offered on the third Monday of every month and is for people who are caring for someone who received a diagnosis of dementia before the age of 65.

Dementia can leave those with the disease and their care partners feeling isolated. You are not alone. There are other people to share the journey with you!

Support groups offer the opportunity to meet, interact with and learn from others who are living with dementia. It’s a safe environment where you can share, laugh, and help each other through mutual understanding.

When symptoms start before the age of 65, we use the term young onset dementia.

Families impacted by younger onset dementia often face unique challenges related to changes associated with the disease, employment, raising children, money matters and future plans. Care partners are experiencing changes in the relationship, an increase in responsibilities related to the family and the challenge of providing care while continuing to be employed.

We welcome everyone to this inclusive environment for people of different ethnicities, cultures or persons who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
