Manitoba’s varying road conditions highlight the importance of refreshing our driving skills as we age.
The Mature Driver Workshop at Safety Services Manitoba is for drivers 55 and over who want to brush up on their skills or enhance their driving performance. If you have recently become the primary driver for someone living with dementia and want to feel more confident in your driving skills, this is a great opportunity for you.
During this 2-3-hour classroom session, you will:
- Learn about updated traffic laws and road safety rules
- Brush up on defensive driving techniques
- Learn how to compensate for changes in hearing, vision, flexibility and reaction time
- Have the opportunity to address driving concerns and questions
