Bereavement Support Group
Working through loss and grief together.
When you lose someone to dementia, you can experience a range of feelings. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Our Bereavement Support Group for care partners is a safe, inclusive space to find comfort, support and understanding.
How this group can benefit you
The Bereavement Support Group will help you to:
- Move through feelings of grief and loss that are experienced when someone living with dementia passes away
- Share your thoughts and emotions relating to your grief and loss
- Increase your knowledge and understanding of various coping strategies
- Exchange mutual support with other caregivers who have recently lost someone
When does this group meet?
Second Monday of every month beginning January 12
6:30 – 8 pm
Location: Virtual via Zoom
