Find your community of support

Our support groups for people living with dementia offer a welcoming setting to talk about experiences and feelings that may be difficult to share with friends or family.

What to expect when you join a support group

Having a diagnosis of dementia or experiencing signs and symptoms related to the disease can lead to a variety of thoughts, feelings and emotions, including feelings of worry or frustration.

This group will give you an opportunity to:

  • Learn about dementia and its progression
  • Share feelings and common experiences
  • Exchange practical coping strategies and mutual support
  • Have meaningful conversations
