About this session

This session will discuss:

  • The progression of dementia – including an overview of dementia, diagnosis, risks and protective factors, treatment options and patterns of changes throughout the progression. Presented by Dr. Kristina Swain, MD, CCFP Department of Family Medicine Enhanced Skills Care of the Elderly, University of Manitoba.
  • Alzheimer Society of Manitoba Programs and Services Overview. Presented by the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba Education Team.
