National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2025

Tuesday, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to honour the lost children and Survivors of the residential schools, their families and communities.

5th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow | Sept 30
Hosted by Southern Chiefs’ Organization
Oodena Circle, The Forks with a walk to RBC Convention Centre
A pipe ceremony will start the day at 10 am at the Oodena Circle at the Forks, followed by the healing walk that will start at 11 am and travel to the RBC Convention Centre.

All-day programming focused on the history of Indian Residential Schools and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Calls to Action.
