For healthcare professionals, educators or students.
Build your capacity to support and interact with someone living with dementia with Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® Champion Courses. Only 10 spots available!
Whether you are new to dementia care, or have years of experience, you will benefit from these courses.
The following full-day, in-person training sessions are interactive and designed for you to implement new skills:

Champion Course 1 + 2
In this course, you will learn physical skills that can make interactions and communication more positive for you and those living with dementia. You will also get to practice strategies for supporting people living with dementia in a less threatening way.

Champion Course 3 + 4
This course will explore the GEMS® States of brain changes — a resource used to help capture the abilities and limitations of each stage during the progression of dementia. Learn how to adapt your approach for each GEMS® State based on the person’s remaining abilities.
