Journeys Through the Zoo
This is an engaging program designed for people living with early to moderate signs of dementia and their care partners to explore Assiniboine Park Zoo’s most famed exhibit: Journey to Churchill.
Discover the magic of the north in the heart of the continent.
Enjoy gentle exploration, sensory activities and group fun — indoors and outdoors — all inspired by nature and wildlife. This program offers a supportive space to spark memories, connect and enjoy meaningful time together.
Program details:
Location: Assiniboine Park Zoo, 2595 Roblin Blvd (Winnipeg)
Dates and time: Every Monday, starting September 15 until October 6.
Cost: $100 + GST/pair (discounted for Assiniboine Park Zoo Members)
