Sacred Fire at the Indigenous Peoples Garden | Sept 30
Fire Node, Indigenous Peoples Garden at The Leaf, 145 The Leaf Way, Winnipeg
Park visitors are invited to participate in a quiet moment of personal reflection. Indigenous educator Wayne Lalman will be interacting with visitors and sharing tobacco teachings.

6th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow | Sept 30
Hosted by the Southern Chiefs’ Organization
Oodena Circle, The Forks, Winnipeg
An opening ceremony will start the day at 9:30 am at the Oodena Circle at The Forks, followed by the healing walk to the Canada Life Centre.

5th Annual Reconciliation Run | Sept 26
The route starts at the ruins of the former Birtle Residential School and finishes at Birdtail Sioux Dakota Nation.
The day will begin with a ceremony at 8:15 am and the run starts at 9 am.
