Treaty territory acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba’s office is located on Treaty 1 territory, the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We respect both the land and the people of this land, including all Indigenous people who have walked in this place. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
