Minds in Motion® Program Manager (.8 fte)

The Minds in Motion® program is designed for people experiencing early-moderate symptoms of dementia to enjoy with a family member or community friend.

The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba is seeking a therapeutic recreation professional skilled in program delivery, training and development of volunteers and staff, community relations and client support.  Preference will be given to those who also possess a provincial or national certification in group exercise, preferably with an emphasis on older adults and chronic disease.

Travel throughout Winnipeg and within Manitoba is required.

  • Knowledge of local community resources
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in fundraising
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work independently; own transportation
