The University of Winnipeg is inviting you for a Staged Reading of a new play in development:
The Concept of Time by Hope McIntyre
Directed by Hazel Venzon
May 17th at 6:30pm
University of Winnipeg Asper Centre for Theatre and Film (400 Colony Street), room 2T15
This play explores how we cope when we are stuck, when we lose a sense of reality and time. It is a story of ageing, an exploration of a family’s endeavor with their father’s Alzheimer’s disease, and a provocation on how we do or do not care for those who require support.
As part of the development of this new play, we are inviting guests to hear the draft and provide responses to make sure it is an accurate, appropriate, and a powerful educational tool. Our goal is to use it as a vehicle for dialogue around the current challenge for caregivers.
