On Saturday, September 7, the Alzheimer Memory Horse Poker Derby was held just outside Minnedosa in support of the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. The event, organized by Brenda Hales and Marie Smith, was a huge success. Many thanks to these ladies and all those who attended! More than $1,200 was raised and a great time was had by the 45 people on the ride. After the ride people gathered at the Queens Hotel in Rapid City for entertainment by Smith & Wesson! Thanks to the Queens hotel for the $450 donation.
